Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch (born April 14 in 1970) is an American comedian, writer as well as a host on TV. Her most well-known role was as the hostess for Dinner and a Movie. In addition, she is a passionate interest in environmental causes and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times best-selling author and highly acclaimed actress, is the best-selling New York Times Author of her memoirs In the Place You Are Then I'm Sure It was a long time ago that you tried to Say Tomato When you say Fired, I Say Shut up and was fired. It also appeared in an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the long time host of the TBS show Dinner & a Movie and TV viewers will remember her unforgettable appearances on various shows, including Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and as hosts of the sustainability series WA$TED, which aired on The Planet Green Network. There are regular appearances on PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR, and the Hollywood Reporter. Apart from the writing of op eds, she produces satires, which are published in The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. Her work has been recognized by critics for her work on the stage in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times.
